LILBURN, Ga. — Michigan Tech remained at No. 4 in this week’s USA TODAY/ESPN Women’s Basketball Division II Coaches’ Poll. The Huskies have been ranked No. 4 for three straight weeks and in the nation’s top five all season.

Tech won both of its games last week in convincing fashion. It defeated Tiffin by an 88-39 score on Thursday (Feb. 4) before dispatching Ashland 73-34 on Saturday (Feb. 6). The Huskies have won 10 consecutive games to improve to 20-1 overall and 15-1 in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play. The 20-1 record is the program’s best 21-game slate in history.

Franklin Pierce (21-0), Indianapolis (23-0) and Gannon (24-0)—the only remaining undefeated teams in the nation—sit ahead of Michigan Tech in the poll.

Michigan Tech hosts two games this week at the SDC Gym. Ferris State comes calling Thursday (Feb. 11) at 5:30 p.m. The Huskies will entertain Grand Valley State Saturday (Feb. 13) at 1 p.m.
