After playing five games in six days and playing without three skaters Michigan Tech ran out of gas as Klagenfurt posted a 7-2 win Wednesday (Aug. 18). The Huskies finished their European Tour with a 2-3 record.

HOCKEY WINS 6-5 OVER VIENNA TO IMPROVE TO 2-2 IN EUROPE
St. Polten, Austria — Michigan Tech improved to 2-2 on its European Tour with a 6-5 victory over the Vienna Capitals tonight at
the Klenk Dome. Mikael Lickteig's goal at 7:48 of the third period stood up as the game winner as the Huskies overcame a 4-3
deficit entering the final frame.

HUSKIES FINISH THIRD AT JOKER CUP WITH LOSS TO AUGSBURGER
Michigan Tech and Augsburger racked up 132 penalty minutes but the Panthers would come away with the 5-2 win. The Huskies finished third in the Joker Cup with a 1-2 record. John Kivisto was named tournament most valuable player.
