TECH ENDS SEASON WITH 3-0 LOSS IN NCAA TOURNAMENT
The Michigan Tech volleyball team had its season come to an end Thursday (Nov. 19) after falling to Indianapolis 3-0 (25-20, 25-19, 25-20) in the first round of the 2009 NCAA Division II NCAA Women's Volleyball Tournament. The Huskies finish the season with a 14-15 record while the Greyhounds, the top seed in the region improve to 36-1 and will face No. 5 seed Hillsdale Friday (Nov. 20).

TECH VOLLEYBALL QUALIFIES FOR NCAA TOURNAMENT
Michigan Tech will make its second straight NCAA tournament after the NCAA announced Sunday (Nov. 15) that Tech was one of 64 teams selected for the 2009 NCAA Division II Women's Volleyball Tournament. Tech (14-14), the No. 8 seed, will face the No. 1 seed in the Midwest Region Indianapolis (32-1) at Indianapolis Nov. 19. Match time is set for 7:30 p.m.

TECH VOLLEYBALL FALLS IN FIRST ROUND OF GLIAC TOURNAMENT
Saginaw Valley State finished with a 62-37 advantage in kills over Michigan Tech to claim a 3-1 win in the opening round of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference volleyball tournament Wednesday (Nov. 11). The Cardinals (20-8, 12-4) also finished with a .234 attack percentage to .069 by the Huskies (14-14, 10-6).
