5-3 FINISH HIGHLIGHTS 2009-10 MEN'S BASKETBALL SEASON
HOUGHTON, Mich. — Freshmen and sophomores accounted for more than 70 percent the team's minutes and scoring during Michigan Tech's 2009-10 men's basketball season. The youthful Huskies finished with a 9-18 record, but improved as the year progressed. The Black and Gold won five of their last eight games and had two more of those that were not decided until the final minute.

MEN'S BASKETBALL ADDS THREE STUDENT-ATHLETES TO 2010-11 ROSTER
HOUGHTON, Mich. — Three student-athletes have signed National Letters of Intent to join the Michigan Tech men's basketball team. Austin Armga (Waupun, Wis.), Troy Hecht (Vassar, Mich.) and Jordan Reetz (Fall Creek, Wis.) will all join the Huskies' roster this fall.

HOJNACKI AND FOWLER GAIN ALL-GLIAC HONORS
FINDLAY, Ohio — Michigan Tech men's basketball players Mike Hojnacki (Milwaukee, Wis./New Berlin Eisenhower) and Don Fowler (St. Clair Shores, Mich./De La Salle) were both named to All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference teams as the league revealed its awards tonight at a pre-tournament event on Findlay's campus.

INDIANAPOLIS — Michigan Tech held on to the top spot in the Midwest Region as the NCAA released the latest rankings today. The Huskies, who won their final two regular season games last week, sit ahead of Indianapolis for the third straight week.
