HOUGHTON, Mich. - Michigan Tech scored the first goal of the evening but No. 3 North Dakota scored the next four goals to post a 4-1 win during the Hall of Fame game Saturday (Nov. 7) at the John MacInnes Student Ice Arena.

Jordan Baker tapped in his own rebound at 8:07 of the first period to put the Huskies up 1-0. Senior

UND followed with a goal by sophomore David Toews less than two minutes later to tie the game at 1-1.
North Dakota used a little luck to score its second goal of the evening when junior Evan Trupp scored on the power play after his shot was deflected off a Tech player’s skate into the goal at 12:54 of the second period.
UND picked up a pair of goals late in the third period by Trupp (18:13) and sophomore Jason Gregoire (18:34) to skate away with the win.
The game featured a number of penalties with Tech finishing the night one-for-six on the power play while North Dakota was one-for-seven.
Freshman Keven Genoe (1-4-0) made 31 saves on 35 shots in his fourth straight start for the Huskies.
Sophomore Brad Eidness (5-1-1) finished the night with 22 saves on 23 shots.
Michigan Tech will continue WCHA play next weekend (Nov. 13-14) with a pair of games at Minn.-Duluth.
