CONNER MOVES TO PITTSBURGH, SCOTT STAYS IN ST. PAUL

PITTSBURGH, Penn./ST. PAUL, Minn. - Former Michigan Tech forward Chris Conner has signed a one-year contract with the Pittsburgh Penguins while former defenseman John Scott has signed a one-year contract extension with the Minnesota Wild. Exact terms of either contract were not released.
Conner played 71 games for the Dallas Stars over the past three seasons, finishing with seven goals and 14 assists for 21 points. The Westland, Mich., native tallied 129 points (69 goals, 60 assists) in 151 games for the Huskies from 2002-06.
Scott tallied one assist in 20 games for the Wild last season. The St. Catharines, Ont., native recorded 19 points (seven goals, 12 assists) in 126 games for the Huskies from 2002-06.
