Freshman Season
Played in 32 games … Scored a goal and added an assist in his first collegiate game on Oct. 15 against Minnesota Duluth … Recorded assists in two other contests —
one in a 6-6 tie against Northern Michigan on Nov. 4 and another in a 6-2 victory over Notre Dame on Jan. 18.

Prior to Michigan Tech
Spent the 2003-04 campaign in the Alberta Junior Hockey League … Spent the first half of the season with Canmore where he played in 40 games and recorded 23 goals and 35 assists. He was moved to Grande Prairie where he finished the season … Competed in 70 total games in 2003-04 with 29 goals and 44 assists … Helped Grande Prairie win provincial championship … Was a unanimous pick to the AJHL North Division All-Rookie Team … Named the North Division Rookie of the Year and was runner-up for AJHL Rookie of the Year … Finished 12th in the AJHL scoring race … A 2003 graduate of Sahali Secondary (British Columbia) High School.
