Muck Run Set for Nov. 1 at Tech Trails
Michigan Tech is holding its annual Muck Run on Saturday, November 1 at 10 a.m. at the Tech Trails. The 5-kilometer trail race through mud, muck, mire, and maybe even snow, benefits both the men's and women's cross country teams.

Huskies Night Out Set for Next Monday at Mine Shaft
Michigan Tech will host its first Huskies Night Out of the 2014-15 season next Monday night, Oct. 27, from 6-8 p.m. at the Mine Shaft/Rock House Grille. The event is a chance for fans to hear in-depth interviews and ask questions of Michigan Tech coaches.

Soccer Huskies Get Past Tiffin 1-0
Michigan Tech peppered Tiffin with 32 shots including 20 in the second half but needed a Jacqueline Mielke goal in the 78th minute to come away with a 1-0 victory over the Dragons at Sherman Field.

No. 20 Huskies Roll to 35-14 Win over Grand Valley State
Michigan Tech opened the game against Grand Valley State with 35 unanswered points and went on to a 35-14 victory over the Lakers to improve to 6-0 on the season. Charlie Leffingwell rushed for 202 yards on 23 carries and scored two touchdowns.

Herrewig's Late Goal Gives Tech 1-0 Soccer Win
Michigan Tech got a late goal from Lexi Herrewig to defeat Findlay 1-0 in GLIAC women’s soccer at Sherman Field tonight in a driving rain. The Huskies (8-1-1, 6-0-1 GLIAC) kept their unbeaten streak alive; it now sits at nine matches.

Missouri S&T Defeats Tech 3-1 at GLIAC/GLVC Crossover
Michigan Tech dropped its opening match of the GLIAC/GLVC Crossover Tournament by a 3-1 count to Missouri S&T. The Huskies, seeded No. 7 in the GLIAC, fell to 8-10 overall. The Miner’s, who are the No. 6 seed in the GLVC, improved to 11-9.

Maroste Added to Hockey Staff as Volunteer
Mark Maroste has been added to the Michigan Tech hockey staff as a volunteer assistant coach for 2014-15 season. Maroste played for the Huskies from 1981-85, and served as an assistant coach from 2001-04.
