Huskies Live Video Portal Open for 2013-14

HOUGHTON, Mich. — Huskies Live, the video streaming portal for Michigan Tech home athletic events, is open and ready for users to set up accounts for the 2013-14 season at HuskiesLive.mtu.edu. All Huskies home events in football, basketball, volleyball and soccer will be available through Huskies Live, with options to purchase single-event passes, season sport passes or an all-access pass.

Michigan Tech hockey streams have been part of Huskies Live in the past, but will now be part of a Western Collegiate Hockey Association-wide streaming package through AmericaOne. Details on hockey streaming will be released in the coming weeks.

Streams of Tech athletic events include a multi-camera setup with instant replay and graphics. The recent addition of a video production room accompanying the MacInnes Student Ice Arena video board will enhance the stream quality in all sports.

New to HuskiesLive for 2013-14 will be streams for the 2013 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Cross Country Championships in October and the 2014 NCAA Nordic Skiing Central Region Championships in February.

A total of 39 Michigan Tech athletic events will be streamed through Huskies Live in 2013-14. Home postseason events will be included free of charge in season and all-access packages.

Fans are encouraged to set up accounts and test technology in advance. Customer service is available between 7:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and noon to 7 p.m. Sunday.
