Bryan Thomas is in his second year at Michigan Tech in 2011, serving as a graduate assistant coach.

Thomas gained a bachelor’s degree in science and physical education from Grand Valley State last fall. He played defensive line for the Lakers for four seasons and was part of two national championships and four Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference titles during his time there. He also earned Academic All-GLIAC laurels three times.

Thomas, a native of South Lyon, Mich., will work with the offensive line at Michigan Tech and pursue his master’s degree in business administration.
