Hockey Team Releases White Jersey
HOUGHTON, Mich. — Michigan Tech today released the third of three new hockey jersey designs for 2012-13.
The team's white jersey, which will be worn for nearly all home games for the Huskies, is very similar in design to the previously released black jersey. It will have the same patches and lettering style. The sweater will feature black lettering with gold outlines along with black and gold striping on the sleeves.
All of the new jerseys use the modern, NHL-style cut.
"In keeping with the theme of the other two jerseys, we wanted the whites to have a classic, clean look," said head coach Mel Pearson.
Michigan Tech will debut its new jerseys little more than two months from now when it hosts Brock University on Oct. 6.
