Michigan Tech certified athletic trainer Brian Brewster has been added to the 2016 U.S. National Junior Team as the team’s trainer for the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) World Junior Championships in Helsinki, Finland, Dec. 26-Jan. 5.

Michigan Tech today announced the addition of two hockey student-athletes during the spring signing period. Jake Lucchini (Trail, B.C./Trail Smoke Eaters) and Angus Redmond (Langley, B.C./Salmon Arm Silverbacks) have signed National Letters of Intent to play for the Huskies and coach Mel Pearson.

Kero Named CCM All-American
Michigan Tech's Tanner Kero was named a CCM All-American on Friday (March 10) as the American Hockey Coaches Association named its top 24 college hockey players at the Frozen Four. Kero was selected to the West First Team and is the first Husky since Jamie Ram in 1994 to be named a first team All-American.

Michigan Tech’s Tanner Kero was named a Senior CLASS Award First Team All-American on Thursday (April 9). The forward wrapped up his four-year career with the Huskies in 2014-15 and recently signed with the NHL’s Chicago Blackhawks.
