Women's Basketball Program to Host Little Huskies League
HOUGHTON, Mich. - The Michigan Tech women's basketball team will be holding a Little Huskies Girl's League starting Sept. 22.
The league, which runs Saturday's from 10 am to 12 pm, is for girl's currently in grades three through eight and will be held in the multi-purpose gym in the Student Development Complex.
The first half of each session will consist of basketball fundamentals and skills with the second half featuring games.
The cost of the league is $30 per person/$15 for each additional sibling, and all participants will receive a free t-shirt that will grant them free admission to all home basketball games. Participants will also play in halftime games at select Michigan Tech men's basketball games.
