Soccer Ranked Ninth in Region

KANSAS CITY, Kansas - The Michigan Tech soccer team is ranked for the first time this season in the NSCAA/Continental Tire Div. II Midwest Regional Poll debuting at No. 9.

"We are very happy to be recognized in the NSCAA/Continental Tire Midwest Regional Poll," said head coach Michelle Jacob. "Our players and staff have put a lot of time and effort into our program. This commitment to improvement has paid off with a great start to our season. We have a tough schedule ahead, and we firmly believe our players will continue to build on these hard earned positive results."

The Huskies have a 4-2-0 overall record and a 2-0-0 league record this season. The team will play a conference game at Northern Michigan Saturday (Sept. 22).
