Tennis Falls at Ferris 7-2

BIG RAPIDS, Mich. - The Michigan Tech women's tennis team concluded a three-match road trip with a 7-2 loss at Ferris State today. The Huskies finished the road trip 1-2 and are now 2-4 overall on the season.

Tech picked up its first point at No. 2 doubles where Ploy Suthijindawong and Chelsea Uganski combined for an 8-5 victory. FSU won at No. 1 by an 8-2 score and at No. 3 by forfeit.

Suthijindawong earned a 6-3, 6-3 decision at No. 2 singles to account for the other Huskies point. All the other matches were won by the Bulldogs in straight sets.

Michigan Tech will continue its fall season Friday (Sept. 30) at Tiffin.
