HOUGHTON, Mich. – The Michigan Tech Huskies earned three awards in the 2018-19 CoSIDA Publications and Digital Design Contest. CoSIDA announced the award recipients on Tuesday (June 18), following last week's annual convention at the Orlando Marriot World Center.

The hockey goal motion graphics placed third in the "Motion Graphics/gifs - University" category. The graphics were posted on social media throughout the hockey season when a Tech hockey player scored.

CoSIDA sponsors a variety of media guide/publication and digital design contests and an annual writing contest for its members, with every CoSIDA member at every level having the opportunity to receive recognition for his/her work. It's no small honor to earn an award since the judging is done by news media/communications professionals who use those publications in their work.
