HOUGHTON, Mich. – The Michigan Tech football team will host the 2019 Spring practice/scrimmage Saturday afternoon as scheduled (April 13) at Sherman Field. The session is slated for 1 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
However, due to the recent snow the bleachers and hillside are not accessible. Fans are welcome though to bring lawn chairs to sit or stand around the field and watch the practice. In addition, the Michigan Tech football program will be hosting the second session of Little Huskies Football camp from 9:00 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday morning in the SDC Multi-Purpose Gym.
The Huskies will open the 2019 regular season at Hillsdale on Saturday September 7th at 1 p.m. Tech's home opener is slated for Saturday September 28th against Grand Valley State for the annual Homecoming Game at 1 p.m.
