  • Five Huskies named Krampade All-American Scholars

    Thomas Beretta, Robbie Beydoun, Devin Kero, TJ Polglaze, and Dylan Steman of the Michigan Tech hockey team were named Krampade All-American Scholars for the 2018-19 school year, as announced by the American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA).
  • Former Huskies recently signed or traded in NHL

    Four former Michigan Tech hockey players inked new contracts and one was traded over the last month.
  • Six Huskies attended NHL Development Camps

    Michigan Tech had five current and one former player at NHL Development Camps over the last month. Robbie Beydoun (Detroit), Seamus Donohue (Philadelphia), Brian Halonen (Dallas), Matt Jurusik (Pittsburgh), and Colin Swoyer (St. Louis) were all invites while Jake Lucchini was also in Pittsburgh where he signed in the spring.

    Seven prominent NCAA Division I men’s hockey playing institutions have announced the exploration of a new Division I men’s hockey conference that would begin play with the 2021-2022 season. The seven institutions include: Bemidji State University; Bowling Green State University; Ferris State University; Lake Superior State University; Michigan Technological University; Minnesota State University, Mankato; and Northern Michigan University.
  • Tech Hockey announces incoming class

    Michigan Tech head hockey coach Joe Shawhan announces seven incoming players for the 2019-20 season. The class consists of goaltender Blake Pietila, defensemen Brendan Datema and Chris Lipe, and forwards Jake Crespi, Logan Ganie, Logan Pietila, and Parker Saretsky.
  • Raymond Brice named the captain of Hockey Huskies

    Michigan Tech head hockey coach Joe Shawhan has named Raymond Brice the captain of the 2019-20 Huskies. Alex Smith and Seamus Donohue will serve as alternate captains.
  • Hockey unveils 2019-20 schedule

    The Michigan Tech hockey program announced its 2019-20 schedule on Wednesday (May 8) in conjunction with the WCHA unveiling its composite schedule. The Huskies have 37 regular season games on the schedule that includes nine nonconference and 28 WCHA contests.
